This spring's kriyaCreating Internal Balance

Before you begin

What you have just signed up for.

One kriya. The same sequence, every day, for 40 consecutive days.

Starting May 27, 2026, we will practice the Kundalini Yoga Set for Creating Internal Balance together — live on YouTube, Monday to Friday at 06:30h CEST. If that time does not work for you, recordings stay on our channel and you can practice at whatever hour fits your life.

Each session is one hour. The structure is the same every day: tuning in, warm-up, the kriya, relaxation, meditation, and closing. What changes is how you experience it — and that tends to surprise people around day 14.

You will receive a daily email from us throughout the 40 days. Not automated content. Written for this practice, for this year's community. It usually arrives before you sit down to practice.

📓

Bring a notebook. Journaling before or after each session — even a few lines — noticeably amplifies what this practice does. You do not need to write well. You just need to write something.

Your practice materials

Download these before May 27.

Everything you need to practice is here. Download the kriya PDF and keep it somewhere accessible — you may want it offline.

Warm-up option 1

Sun Salutation

If you practice on your own or on weekends without the guided class, use 3 to 5 rounds of Sun Salutation to open the body before beginning the kriya. Start slow.

Warm-up option 2

Hips & Shoulders Flexibility

A short sequence to unlock hips and shoulders before the kriya. Especially useful if you practice early in the morning when the body is still stiff.

The daily hour

How each session is structured.

Every session follows the same arc. Once you know it, you stop having to think about it — and that is exactly the point.

Tuning in Opening the space
We open with the Adi Mantra and the Mangala Charan Mantra. Chant or just listen — either works. Two minutes to close off the noise before the practice begins.
Warm-up Preparing the body
A short sequence to prepare the body and breath for the kriya. Each teacher brings their own approach here, so the start of each session has its own character even though the kriya stays the same.
The kriya Creating Internal Balance
The same set, every day. This is where the 40 days accumulate. Repetition is how the body learns the practice well enough to stop managing it and start receiving it.
Relaxation 5 to 11 minutes
Lying down. Do not skip this part. The integration happens here. Many people find it the most useful part of the hour, and also the part they are most tempted to cut short.
Meditation Adi Shakti Mantra
Seven to eleven minutes with the Adi Shakti Mantra (Morning Call). Chant aloud or silently — the mantra works both ways.
Closing Sat Nam
Three repetitions of Sat Nam to close the practice and honor what you showed up for.
Live sessions
Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 07:30h CEST on our YouTube channel.

English: Mon, Wed & Fri
Bilingual (Spanish & English): Tue & Thu
Recordings
Available the same day. Weekends you practice with the recording. There are no live sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

Why forty days

Repetition is the practice.

"Forty days with the same kriya is a different experience than forty different classes. The practice becomes familiar. Then it becomes useful."

In Kundalini Yoga, 40 days is not an arbitrary number. It is the minimum time needed for a new habit to take root in the nervous system — long enough that the body stops treating the practice as an event and starts treating it as normal.

You will likely notice something shift around week two. The practice starts to feel less like effort and more like something you just do. That is when it starts working in a deeper way.

Pedro recorded a short video explaining the theory behind 40-day practices — why 40 days, what happens in the nervous system, and what to expect along the way. Watch it here →

If you miss a day

Keep going. That is the instruction.

Yogic tradition says you restart from day one if you break the streak. Our position: acknowledge it and keep going. Forty days with two gaps is more useful than stopping at day 12 because you missed a session on a Wednesday.

The recordings stay on YouTube. If you miss a live session, practice with the recording the same day, or the next morning. The kriya does not change — the only thing that changes is whether you showed up.

If anything comes up — a question about the practice, an injury, something you are not sure about — write to Daniela directly.

For those who want to go further

Some people finish the 40 days and want more.

Every year, a handful of participants finish the practice and start asking about the 200h Kundalini Yoga Training. About half the people who join have no intention of teaching — they come for the ten months of guided self-knowledge that a 40-day practice opens the door to.

The training runs in Geneva, Zürich, and Lugano. October 2026 to July 2027. Fifteen people per city. Free of dogma.

October 2026 to July 2027. In-person weekends, online sessions in between, and a four-day closing retreat in the Swiss mountains.

The Imagine Podcast — take it to your ears.

Every week we publish a new episode on Kundalini Yoga, yoga philosophy, and the practice of living more awake. Each one is 11 to 14 minutes — short enough to listen before you sit on your mat, long enough to give you something to carry into the day.

Truth Sets You Free — Satya

There is a kind of tiredness that has nothing to do with how much you slept. Pedro goes into Satya — the second yama — and pushes past the surface translation of "don't lie" into something far more demanding and far more useful.
