What Imagine is

Imagine Yoga Academy is a Kundalini Yoga school focused on sharing the deep and powerful techniques of Kundalini Yoga, so you can come back to yourself through a deeper understanding of who you are and a stronger connection with your inner truth.

Our content is a complete journey of Kundalini Yoga, from free informative PDFs, through our online membership, workshops, retreats and trainings.

We've trained more than 900 teachers and taught thousands of students across Switzerland, Spain and online. Some arrive wanting to teach. Many arrive at a turning point and aren't sure what they're looking for. Both belong here.

Free of dogma doesn't mean free of depth. The teaching keeps pointing you back to your own life — toward clarity, and a little more joy in how you live it — instead of asking you to believe anything.

Who we are

The people you’ll train with

We're Pedro and Daniela. We met yoga at a point in our own lives when we needed it to be more than exercise, and that's the school we ended up building — the one we wished had existed for us. In Switzerland we teach alongside a local teacher in each city.

Daniela Troconis Daly

Teaching Kundalini Yoga since 2012, and trained in Vinyasa and Hatha Flow before that. Certified by Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 and YACEP provider. For me yoga was never only the postures. It's a way of meeting whatever life hands you with a little more awareness — using the body to reach the heart. What keeps me here: my daughter, my husband, and time outside in nature.

Pedro Misle

Teaching Kundalini Yoga since 2012, also trained in Hatha Flow and certified by Yoga Alliance. I believe in the practice and in the daily effort. Life shows up in every moment, and it's on us to make those moments worth something. I practise every day to trust myself a little more — and through that, to trust you more too.

Judith Ender, Kundalini Yoga teacher in Zürich, Switzerland

Judith Ender

Kundalini Yoga was love at first class. I run Gobinde Yoga in Zürich and teach with Imagine here. Every time I practise I'm surprised again by what the work sets free.

Shahrazad Chida, Kundalini Yoga teacher in Geneva, Switzerland

Shahrazad Chida

I came to Kundalini in 2019 after years of Hatha, and found myself in it — less about understanding everything, more about experiencing it. I teach in Geneva, for the people who need these tools most.

Marilena Capobianco, Kundalini Yoga teacher in Lugano, Switzerland

Marilena Capobianco

Kundalini Yoga opened the first door when I needed a change, almost ten years ago. It still feels like coming home. I teach with Imagine in Lugano.

What "free of dogma" means

Gu is darkness. Ru is light.

In the old language, gu means darkness and ru means light. A guru was never meant to be a person you hand your life to. It's the passage from one to the other. And that passage has a simpler name: learning.

When we say Imagine Yoga Academy teaches free from dogma, we're saying the guru here is the practice itself, and what you come to understand by moving through it. There's no one to follow. The teaching keeps pointing you back to your own life.

No rules about how to eat or how to dress. No beliefs you have to take on to belong. You come as you are, and the work does the rest.

It's not dogmatic. I can come as I am. Nobody's telling me what to be.

What people find here

After 14 years and 900+ teachers, one word keeps appearing.

In feedback, in messages, in the way students describe the school to their friends. A sense of Family. A space where you belong without conditions, where you can put down what you've been carrying and just show up as you are.

I wasn't looking for yoga. I was looking for anything that would help me reconnect with myself. I found it.

— Christopher · Geneva

I'm surrounded by love and non-judgment. I can bare my soul with no fear of any damage being done.

— Lisa · Geneva

I was looking for community, a place to feel belonging — and that's exactly what this school gave me.

Questions people ask

About the school

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is a practice that combines breath (pranayama), posture and movement (kriya), sound (mantra) and meditation to work directly with your energy and state of mind. It's less about flexibility and more about awareness — using the body to steady the mind and meet daily life with more clarity. At Imagine we teach it free of dogma, from the foundations up.

Who runs Imagine Yoga Academy?

Imagine Yoga Academy was founded in 2012 by Pedro Misle and Daniela Troconis Daly, who lead every teacher training. Daniela is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 and YACEP provider. In Switzerland they teach alongside local partners in each city: Judith Ender in Zürich, Shahrazad Chida in Geneva, and Marilena Capobianco in Lugano.

Where is Imagine Yoga Academy based?

Imagine Yoga Academy was designed on the idea of geographical freedom so we could teach in as many places as we can. We offer our in person and hybrid programs in Zürich at Gobinde Studio, Kernstrasse 25-B, 8004 Zürich, in Geneva at Akta Studio, Rue de l'Avenir 16, 1207 Genève, Switzerland, and in Lugano at Via Rinaldo Simen 18, 6900 Lugano. We also teach in person and hybrid programs in Spain and India. Our online offer is, obviously, worldwide in English and Spanish.

Is the teacher training Yoga Alliance certified?

Yes. Our 200-hour (Level I) and 300-hour (Level II) Kundalini Yoga teacher trainings are Yoga Alliance certified. On completion you can register as a teacher with Yoga Alliance.

Do I need previous experience to train with you?

No. We've trained complete beginners and experienced practitioners side by side. The training starts from the foundations, so you don't need a particular background — only the willingness to show up and practise.

Is Imagine connected to any guru or particular tradition?

No. We teach Kundalini Yoga free of dogma. There's no guru to follow, no rules about how to eat or dress, and no beliefs you're asked to adopt. We teach the practice and let your own experience be the measure of what's real.

What makes Imagine Yoga Academy different from other Kundalini Yoga schools?

Three things students name themselves: it's free of dogma, we are not bound to any Guru, religion or belief system, we teach Kundalini Yoga as a tool not a goal in itself; we teach the techniques so you can apply them to your life and generate real change; and our school does not rotate around a figure, we are a community of people who come together to deepen our knowledge of Kundalini Yoga so we can deepen the knowledge about ourselves.

What languages do you teach in?

English and Spanish. The Swiss trainings in Zürich, Geneva & Lugano run in English. The Spanish trainings run in Madrid and Málaga. Online options are available in both languages.

What's the difference between the 200H and 300H trainings?

The 200-hour Level I is the foundation — everything you need to understand and teach Kundalini Yoga. The 300-hour Level II goes deeper into philosophy, methodology and your own practice, for those who want to keep going after Level I.

Can I do the teacher training online?

Yes. We run trainings online as well as in person and hybrid in Zürich, Geneva & Lugano. If you can't be in Switzerland, you can train with us from anywhere, in English or Spanish, and still get the live contact and tutoring that make it work.

How much does the Kundalini Yoga teacher training cost?

Fees depend on the city, the level, and the payment plan you choose, and early-bird pricing is usually available. You'll find the current investment, instalment options and dates on each training page: the 200-hour training in Zürich, Geneva & Lugano.

What is Imagine Sangat?

Imagine Sangat is our online membership — ongoing access to live and recorded Kundalini Yoga practice in English. It's the simplest way to start practising with us and to stay connected between trainings.
